Marcio Dias was born in the state of Rio de Janeiro in 1970. He studied journalism at Helio Alonso school in Rio de Janeiro Brazil and then Film Making in Minneapolis USA. Marcio has spent more than 15 years of his life  in the United States where he had his 3 beloved children. He started working with websites in 1993/94, pretty much around the time when the web was born. Marcio proceeded to create Rio Observer, a web based magazine that portrayed Rio as a great place to be, showing its beautiful waterfalls, the amazing people and what they do when Rio was a very depressive place to be (inflation was more than 1000% and crimes and corruption ruled the city). His attempt to revitalize Rio earned him a successful launch to his career not only as a successful entrepreneur and internet marketer but also as an agent of change, social activist and conscious person living in the world. Marcio was featured in magazines, interviewed by the main local newspapers and he appeared in Radio shows and other media. In Boulder he has been interview by the Boulder County Business Report in this article about how social media empowers the consumers.

In the United States Marcio wrote 2 books on Internet Marketing and is currently working on his third one, GodSpeed Marketing Online. He has helped hundreds of businesses not just to get online but also to achieve success marketing products and services on the internet.
